ReplyDeleteIn your collection of Anton Pieck, I found the picture I just purchased at our local Goodwill. It is the 26 picture when you scroll down. I only payed $2.50 for it! It is a Vintage scene shadow box, and it is signed. I love the amount of detail through out the scene! It shows a women and child looking toward the street, watching a man riding a horse carriage and a man riding a large wheeled tricycle, a dog drinking from a pail, and many more details. Any idea as to what year it was made?
ReplyDeleteSorry, can't help you...
DeleteAny idea what these are worth I currently have the 18 and 23 from the top. Love his work
ReplyDeletePieck's work is spred over many years but, most cased work is around the 50s-1970s (mostly the latter). His pieces command good prices in his native country, with glazed versions being the more highly sought after. Most prints are just a few pounds but, I have seen larger glazed pieces making mid hundreds.
