The Antiquaryjavascript:void(0)Bellor is the pseudonym of the Belgian Symbolist painter René Miessen.
He enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown Arlon at the age of 15. Later Bellor moved to Brussels and started working in the advertising companies, where he made a major career, but his real passion was painting, and at the age of 45 he moved to Paris where he joined the Symbolist circle and developedhis unique style. He retired from the art market in 1984 but continued to paint with passion till the age of 88.
