Nude Painting by French Artist Henri Lebasque (1865-1937)
Considered as fauve and impressionnist, Henri Lebasque was very susscessful during his life. His nude paintings and and young women's portrait were esteemed and in demand.
His wife and two daughters Marthe and Helen or "Nono" became his favorites models.
In 1924, Nono married Jacques Lenoble, and it was a turning point of Lebasque's carrier as he saw his favorite model going away.
By 1925 Lebasque had found other models Claudine and Marie who replaced Marthe and Nono.
