Magic Realism Painting by Belgian Artist Raoul Hynckes (1893-1973)

Raoul Hynckes (b. Brussel studied at the Academy of Art in Brussels. He moved to Amsterdam in 1914, where he painted boats on water and local harbours. Starting 1924 he focused on painting highly detailed, symbolically charged still lifes, regarded as belonging to the Magical Realism painting.
