  3. Portrait of a girl in blue is on show at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, glasgow (as are a couple of the others) - it is used to demonstrate the difference cleaning makes - which is why there is a murky third, a not-so mucky middle, and a clean end.

    Well worth coming to see (and other Scottish artists on display) - especially as most of these paintings were hidden away when I was growing up, in favour of non-scottish and non-figurative art.
