Ernst Kreidolf (1863-1956) Swiss Artist
Ernst Kreidolf (1863-1956) was a Swiss graphic artist and illustrator of children's books.
In 1883, Ernst Kreidolf enrolled in an Art School in Munich and in 1889, he started studying at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts.
At that time to make his living, the artist had been drawing portraits of criminals for a Munich paper.
Since 1898, he illustrated mostly children's books, some of which he wrote himself. (wikipedia)
