Eiho Hirezaki was born in Tokio. At 17, he became a disciple of an ukiyo-e artist. Later Eiho Hirezaki dedicated his art to book illustration, working for a number magazines and newspapers. He was well known for his kuchi-e iluustrations (kuchi-e were foldout prints put at the front of Japanese literary magazines in 1890s through 1910).
