Adolf Born Czech painter and illustrator

Adolf Born studied visual arts in Prague, he still lives and works there. Adolf Born was awarded a Grand Prix prize in Montreal in 1974. His work has been exhibited worldwide since 1960s. He works mostly in the technique of colour lithography. He illustrated hundreds of books, worked for theater as costume and set designer and in animation movies. There's asteroid 17806 Adolfborn named for him.

Yoko Furusho, Illustration

YOKO FURUSHO is a Japanese artist/illustrator based in New York. She was born in Tokyo and moved to New York to study illustration at the School of Visual Arts. After her graduation, she started to work as a professional illustrator/artist. She likes to draw details, textures and patterns with ink and acrylics. Her world is full of imaginary monsters, weird animals, and funny landscape. Now she is working as an illustrator for various magazines and newspapers. Furusho is selected for the winner of Art Directors Club YG7 and for many other competitions. Her works had been featured for Maybelline New York, KEDS collective, Glamour magazine and at several shows around the world. (artist's site)

Fülöp Antal Andor (1908-1979, Hungarian)

Antal Andor Fülöp was born in Cluj, Romania, where he studied at the School of Fine Arts from 1925 to 1929. He also studied at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Rome under Umberto Coromaldi in 1929 and 1930.
