Hi lili, I have recently updated my Picasa site with many more paintings as well new and better edits of the pictures that you presently have on your site.
Hello Lili ! wow loved the art of SULAMITH ! Is it possible to buy posters of hers or somethin online in hight resolution? Where are all these pictures? How can I send you an email ? Please write me in lillyhas@gmail.com
Bonjour J'aimerai beaucoup avoir un livre avec les oeuvres de Frédéric John Lloyd Strevens. Est-ce que cela existe et où peut-on se le procurer ? Merci Michèle D
One of your featured artists, Doris Zinkeisen was married to my mother's cousin. I would like to copy a few of Doris's paintings from your website in a family history story book (for distribution around Fraser family members). What is the copyright situation regarding copying and pasting the images ?
Hi Lili, Love some of the work you've found to put in the blog :-) You might like to take a look at http://martinherbert.com .. or not! Best regards Martin
My favorite Old Master is Hans Memling's Portrait of a Young Man from 1450. I first saw it at a Santa Barbara, Ca. exhibit in the early 1980's., I had a poster size copy I had for years. It was distroyed and broke my heart. Does anyone know where I can go to get another copy? I don't care about what size it is. I just really have wanted another for 20 yrs. Please contact me @ lisarae1955@msn.com
I just found my favorite Old Master, Hans Memling's Portrait of a Young Man 1450. I first saw it at a Santa Barbara exhibit in the early 1980's. I had a poster size copy for years and it got destroyed. Broke my heart. I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get a copy. It does not have to be poster size. I have been looking for a copy for about 20 yrs. If you have any info please contact me @ lisarae1955@msn.com......Thank You
I like your collection of artists and I would like to link to your blog on my website. Who should I say it was from? I could not find an "about" page. All the best Pat
Beautiful blog! I'm doing an article for the Missouri Arts Council on cool arts blogs, but my parameters require they be authored by Missourians. I can no longer remember the web search trail that led me here, but there must have been some Missouri link somewhere - are you by any chance living in Missouri?
Can't even remember how I happened upon this gem of a blog.... but then again that was 2 hours ago I believe! THE MOST IN-DEPTH collection of Masters I've seen yet, and I Really Appreciate your personal mini-wiki-like bio paragraphs with such great information! I still have LOADS more to learn about I can see, but Real Life calls for now (drat!). Anyways, I mainly wanted to *Thank You* for your INCREDIBLE sacrifice of time and effort in compiling everything here. It's Wonderful! :)
Hmm, not sure where my orig comment to you just flew off to, so I'll try & repeat Briefly in case it manages to sneak in the back door while I'm turned around. THANK YOU for your Incredible sacrifice of time and effort in compiling all of this for all to learn from and enjoy. It's been 2 hour now I believe, and I KNOW there's still Loads more to see, but alas, RL calls. I also wanted to especially thank you for the mini 'wiki-like' bio's you include... that's been Most Helpful to learn about them as I go! :)
i have a xerox of a painting ,how can i identify it.its from a old hoechst calendar. a a man and a woman ina field, poorly dressed and he is carring a staff, her nose is a cone
I am working on a book-blog which can be seen at [one word] theoryofirony.com, then clicking on either the “sample chapter” or “blog” buttons. My Rube Goldberg contraption of a brain processes the world with an odd, well-caffeinated kind of logic. Why is there an inverse proportion between the size of the print and the importance of the message? History. Art. Science. Religion. I call this eccentric thinking the Theory of Irony and if your busy schedule permits, why not give a read, leave a comment or create a link?
P.S. Sorry if this seems like spam, but it has been written by a real live history junkie.
